What is the aXes Mobile app?

The aXes Mobile app operates as a composite application container that manages web resources including aXes terminal emulation sessions, web applications, web sites and document views that point to files residing in server file systems (e.g. IBM i IFS, Linux and Windows).

• Mobile device users can insert web resources into the aXes Mobile app by configuring properties including URL, port number and title, and group a number of related items using sub-menus.

  Mobile device users can configure web resources in the app, or administrators can manage the configuration process by packaging a collection of resources, sending the package to mobile devices and the aXes Mobile app will install the items in a package automatically.
  
  The app supports concurrent terminal emulation sessions to multiple IBM i servers and users can copy data from one session to another.
  
  The app's authentication tools allow automated log-on to a terminal emulation session or can ask users to provide credentials to log on. A user may log-on to one server automatically and provide credentials to log-on to another server.
  
  After a user has configured web resources in the aXes Mobile app, touching a menu item will open the item's content in the app's view panel.
