Checking IFS file authority

In general aXes files stored on the OS/400 IFS should be set so that user *PUBLIC has Data Authority *R only and no other authorities. When files do not follow this rule they may not be served, causing problems in client side applications.
Use the OS/400 WRKLNK command to review and alter IFS file authorities.
For example: *PUBLIC needs to be set to *R.
