Authentication token tampering on V7R3M0

Hi,

We are in trouble after applying the latest PTFs to V7R3M0 box. After that, file-uploading (using longreach service) and WS/DE was no longer available. As you can see from the following screenshots, "Authentication token tampering" appears in the error message.

When attempting uploaing a local file to IFS using longreach service.

When attemping signing onto to WS. (It happens to DE as well.)

All the PTFs were correctly applied. (I've asked about it to IBM Japan and still keeping in touch with them.)

Have anyone experienced/dealt this problem?? Need your help! m(__)m

Hi,

Here is an update. We've found a couple of PTFs which might cause the problem.
Those are:
- SI75782 5770JV1 V7R3M0
- SI75739 5770JV1 V7R3M0

Removing the individual PTFs shown above after applying the latest PTFs, Longreach/WS/DE were available. (It's a temporary workaround though.)

I'm still working on this...

Me again,

One more thing.

I've tested the followings, but remained unchanged unfortunately...

1) Apply the latest PTFs to V7R3M0.
2) then apply individual PTFs (SI76321, SI76357; these are related to SI75739 which I posted earlier).

I am facing the same issue when moving my AS400 to version V7R4.

I have no PTF to cancel..

Do you have news about this issue ?

Hi Mélanie,

I encountered the same yesterday at a client's V7R4M0 box. Fortunately they didn't implement the uploading functionality in their production, though, I think it should be investigated as priority in Lansa. The PTF level of Java (SF99665) was as follows.

Thank you Hide, your PTFs looks like mine.

IBM has provided us the correspondence of PTFs from V7R3M0 to V7R4M0.

The SI75782 & SI75739 are named SI76356 & SI76324 in V7R4M0.

We have not these PTFs installed in our AS400 but we still have the issue when trying to upload files :

It seems we are now on the same page. We've also checked the following site and learned the correspondence as you mentioned.

In my testing, removing SI75782 & SI75739 from V7R3M0 seemed to be a "temporary" solution. And it indicated that SI76356 & SI76324 should be removed from V7R4M0. But unfortunately it doesn't go well on V7R4M0 box...

I've reported to the support team, and have asked that push this issue with more urgency.

Hi,

I got a patch of this and confirmed it works as expected after applying the patch in house. At this moment, it seems it is for v4.2.0.001.

- File uploading... OK
- WS sign on....... OK
- DE sign on........ OK
