To meet a prospect's demand, I've prepared a project which allows users to retrieve/set values on Excel spread sheet from/to an aXes screen.

Thanks for having interest in this sample. Unfortunately, there is no translated documentation. You might want to use a translate app (say the google lens app) instead. I believe it helps you something like the followings.
Note:
If my understanding is correct, some APIs in this VBA work on only IE11 (not Chrome/Edge/Firefox). These may work on Edge IE mode, though, I didn't test.
