We are standardising the format in which aXes versioning is being displayed.
Until this is complete there might be some confusion about the different format out there.
If you are on aXes version 3.1.1 and previous.
On the homepage the version will be displayed with the following format:
Version 3.11.002 which should be read aXes version 3.1.1.002 where 002 is the Fixpack level.
If you are on aXes version 4.1.0 or 4.1.0.001.
you may be able to see 2 different version formats.
a) The old version format will display in the following way:
Version 4.10 which should be read: aXes version 4.1.0 where no Fixpack have been installed.
Version 4.10.001 which should be read aXes version 4.1.0.001 where 001 is the Fixpack level.
b) The new version format will display in the following way
Version 4.1.0.001.159259 where 001 is the Fixpack level and 159259 is the patch level.
If you are on aXes version 4.1.0.002 or greater
you will see the version displayed in the new format such as:
Version 4.1.0.002.123456 which reads aXes version 4.1.0 Fixpack 002 patch level 123456
Version 4.1.1.000.000000 which reads aXes version 4.1.1 with no Fixpack and no patches installed.
Please note:
aXes Version 4.1.1 and 4.1.0.002 have not been released yet (at the time of this post) and are only provided here as illustration of how version numbers will look like in the future.
