Changing properties

Hi, can anybody help me and tell me how the java script should look like for this request - I do not get it :-( If the mouse hovers over a push the background color shall be changed like this (I suppose property "onFocus" is the correct one?): if application theme is "Orange" the "onFocus" property ...

aXes 4.2 - choreographer

Hi, axes 4.2 has the new feature "Choreographer". I tried this functionality and have two questions: 1. How can I prevent that all the screens that are on the way to the final destinations will be shown? I suppose this feature is very helpful but daiplaying all those screens is a little bit annoying...

Re: [aXes 4.1.0] Upload a file to the IFS using Longreach in aXes

Hi, I tried Hidehaku's examples (great work, thank you very much) and succeeded in uploading the image file to IFS. But the image is not displayed - only noimage.jpg imageName is "A000090.jpg?0.29823732...." imagePath is "longreachdata/shared/simpleupload/" (which is exactly the folder in which the ...

Re: Cannot save new screens

Hi, just in case you want to know how this issue was solved: count.txt was definitely the reason for this error. The content of this file has to be the number of screen definitions - but in this case this content was corrupted. I just deleted the content and typed in the correct number and now new s...

Styling: checkboxes / input fields

Hi,
how can I define default styles for checkboxes and input fields?
Every checkbox and every input field should automatically get an orange border and a light grey background.

Many thanks in advance,
Joerg

Cannot save new screens

Hi,

when defining a new screen I always get this message when I try to save the definition:

Unable to save changes: parsererror

What can be the reason for this?

Many thanks in advance,
Joerg

Trouble with date extensions

Hi, we are working on a German IBMi system. In our 5250 applications date fields are normally edited in format DDMMYY and displayed in format DD.MM.YY E.g. when opening a 5250 screen the date (input field) is displayed as 12.06.19 In aXes I define this field as date (date extension) - but when I ope...

Application: combining double mouse click with function key

Hi,
is it possible to create a general application rule that triggers SENDKEY(F4) when double clicking on an input field?

Cheers,
Joerg

Function Key Text

Hi, in our 5250 screens we often have to use abbreviations for function key texts - just because of screen width limitations. Is it possible to say axes to automatically add the complete text when displaying the function keys. Example: In the 5250-Screen we e.g. only display F8 oder F8=For or F8=Fwd...

Function Key Display

Hello,

how can I display the original function key text on the axes screens?
We want to display "F12=Back" and not only "Back".

Many thanks in advance,
Joerg
